Medical Students and Interview Season 2025

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your interest in our program! We will have several informal Q&A sessions prior to the start of interview season. This will be a chance to get to know the residents in an informal setting and ask any questions you may have. In the meantime, check out the shadowing, rotating, and volunteering opportunities below!

Can't wait to meet you all,
UC PM&R Residents

Pre-Interview Season Q&A Sessions:

We will again be hosting two Q&A sessions for fourth year medical students who are interested in our program. This will give time for students to speak candidly with residents (no faculty invited!), and we will answer all of your burning questions! Please sign-up for only one session that works best for you below:

Interview Season:

  • Interviews will be virtual

  • There will be a pre-interview Q&A/happy hour with the residents the night before your interview

  • Residency recruitment policies:

    • Applications will be reviewed holistically.

    • The interview committee will interview 40 candidates for 3 positions within the adult PM&R program.

    • We will not invite more candidates than interview slots available.

    • Interviews will begin in November.

    • Applicants are welcome to visit in person on a separate date but this will not affect their rank order or result in preference. They will not meet with leadership during their visit.
